Claim for damages is more likely than you might think. Material and immaterial damage can cause a claim. In most of the cases the claim is about financial damage, bodily harm or health damage.

Financial damage can be caused when a signatory doesn’t exercise his duties or exercises them wrongly so that there is damage as a result of his action. This is likely to happen in the act of sale and contract for the service section but also in the section of liberal professions, like architects or tax consultants.

In the section of bodily harm and health damage there are a lot of different causes. The most common case in bodily harm would be the traffic accident. But furthermore bodily harm can also be caused by animals, household accidents, in sports or at work.
